Aligarh Muslim University conducts an all India entrance examination every year for the admission of students to the B.Tech and B.Arch courses. Eligibility for AMU Engineering Entrance Exam:
Students willing to join B.Tech and B.Arch programs should have passed the senior secondary examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates with a diploma in Engineering may also apply for admission.

Pattern of Test

Admission to Aligarh Muslim University depends on the performance of the students in the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Engineering Entrance exam. Candidates willing to take admission to the B.Tech course will have to sit for the paper I that deals with objective type questions on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Paper I and paper II are both compulsory for the candidates seeking admission to the B.Arch Course. Paper II is specially designed for testing the aptitude of the candidate in architecture.
