Planning and Architecture Common Entrance Test (PACET) is an examination conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) for admission to 4, 5 and 6 years courses in planning and architecture.
Eligibility criteria:
1. The candidate should have Indian nationality.
2. The minimum age of the candidate is 16 years.
3. The candidate should also belong to Andhra Pradesh.
4. The candidate should have passed the class 12th examination from
Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of
50% marks.
5. The candidate must also have studied mathematics and English as main
subjects upto class 12th level.
Proposed important dates:
1. MAY – availability of application forms.
2. JUNE – deadline for submission of completed application forms.
3. JULY – date of examination.

Examination pattern and syllabus:
For admission to architecture:
1. The examination is conducted in 2 parts.
2. The first test is drawing test and tests the drawing aptitude of
the candidate. The duration of first paper is 2 hours.
3. The second test is Aesthetic Sensitivity Test and tests the perception,
creativity, imagination of the candidate. The duration of this examination
is 2 hour and is computer based.
