The School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, deemed to be a University under the UGC Act, Government of India, has been in the fields of architecture, town planning and human settlement development for the past fifty years, an apex and premier educational, training, research and consultancy institute of Asia.

The School of Planning and Architecture had its modest beginning in 1941 as a Department of Delhi Polytechnic, it was later affiliated to the University of Delhi and integrated with the School of Town and Country Planning which was established in 1955 by the Government of India to provide facilities for training in Rural , Urban and Regional Planning.

Application Procedure:
Application form and information bulletin containing full details may be obtained from the DCO Bank extension counter, IIPA Building, Ring Road, New Delhi and its other notified branches in May/June (on notification) during banking hours. Requests for application form by post accompanied by crossed Demand Draft of UCO Bank/State Bank of India and drawn in favour of School of Planning and Architecture, payable at New Delhi is to be addressed to the Registrar of the School. Foreign Nationals are required to apply to the Government of. India through their diplomatic channels.

Method of Selection
Selection is made on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination AIEEE conducted by CBSE.

Eligibility criteria :

Under-graduate programmers:
Candidates getting minimum of 50 percent marks in their 10+2 with Maths as a subject are eligible to apply for admission in Bachelors degree programme.

Post-Graduate Programmes:
Candidates having minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate at the qualifying examination (50 percent in respect of SC/ST candidates) .
