The Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management and is the first step in the process of seeking admission to the IIMs. i.e. Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) Ahmedabad , Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore, Kozhikode, Lucknow.

Common Admission Test 2007 - November 2007

The CAT is generally a 2 hour test with number of questions normally ranging from 120 to 150. Wrong answers carried 1 mark as penalty whereas correct answers carried 4 marks. Proficiency in all the sections is essential for getting a call from any of the IIMs as sectional cut offs are also applicable.

Eligibility Criteria for CAT 2007:

Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks (or equivalent grade) from any University or Institution recognized by AICTE.
Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification.
