National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) has been jointly established by Ministry of Tourism. Govt. of India and A.P. Tourism to usher in better standards in hospitality and tourism sectors. The College has many distinctions, qualifying it as a leading national and international institute in hospitality and tourism.

The emphasis of the curriculum is on practical learning experiences, working closely with industry leaders to ensure that we are preparing students to meet the needs of the industry.

NITHM is modeled on the lines of IIT’s and IIMs of India and has a tie-up with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological university (JNTU), Hyderabad . NITHM is soon to be granted the status of a Deemed University by the Government of India.

Applications are invited for
1st year of 2 year full time MBA (Tourism & Hospitality)
5-year full time MS (Tourism & Hospitality)

Admission Procedure
Eligibility criteria should be met
Application Form and Prospectus can be obtained from The Chairman (Admissions), NITHM in person by paying Rs. 500/- or by post through a request accompanied by a Demand Draft for Rs. 550/- drawn in favour of NITHM, payable at Hyderabad.
Application can also be downloaded from NITHM website: www.nithm.ac.in and submitted along with Demand Draft for Rs. 550/- in favour of NITHM, payable at Hyderabad . (Candidates should write their name and complete postal address on the reverse of the Demand Draft)

Clear the Selection criteria (Test& Interview)
Hostel accommodation on ‘First come-first-service’ basis

Note:

1. Reservations: SC-15%; ST-6%; Ph-3%; BC-as per AP Government norms as on the date of interview; 1/3 seats for women students in all categories.

2. A few seats are earmarked for Foreign candidates and those sponsored by the industry, NRIs and entrepreneurs.

3. Written Test as well as All India Counseling for admission will be conducted at NITHM, Gachibowli, Hyderabad – 500 032(AP).

*Foreign students have to route their applications through MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development), Govt. of India, New Delhi or ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations), New Delhi.

Placement: Students from earlier ‘Three’ batches are placed in reputed Tourism/ Hospitality organizations in India/ abroad, drawing salaries comparable with the best in the sector. NITHM Placement Cell provides the assistance.
