Overviews
The Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association, in their endeavour to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine merit of students seeking admission to the member institutions, have formed "Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka". (COMEDK).

(COMEDK) has been assigned the task of organising a common entrance test for the academic year -2010, for candidates aspiring to pursue Post Graduate Courses in Medicine and Dentistry in the state of Karnataka, in Member Institutions of the Consortium (Medical and Dental Colleges).

COMEDK entrance test & publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralised counselling (Single window system). The details will be publicised in due course on our website.

The list of the Member Institutions who have indicated that they are participating in the COMEDK testing program, along with the courses offered by them, is published as part of this brochure, on our website.

Applicants are advised to read the brochure thoroughly and familiarise themselves with the test procedures.

COMEDK PGET 2010 - Important Dates

Eligibility:

Applicants should have successfully passed all years of their M.B.B.S./ B.D.S. from an institution recognised by MCI / DCI and must have completed / completing their internship by 30th April 2010.

Test Pattern
There will be one test for PG Medical and one test for PG Dental Courses. Each test will have 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
The time allotted for the test would be 180 minutes. The test will begin at 10:00am and end at 1:00pm
Candidates are required to mark their answers in an OMR (Optical Mark Reader) Answer Sheet.
Each correct answer is awarded one mark.
There will be no negative marking.
No mark/s will be awarded for multiple marking (marking multiple responses) of any question.

How to apply:
Applications are to be filled online on our website after obtaining a DD for Rs. 1500/-(One Thousand Five Hundred Only) in favour of COMEDK-2010, payable at Bangalore (Non refundable fee) & posted to the below given COMEDK address along with the DD and the documents.
