OverviewThe Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association, in their endeavour to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine merit of students wanting to seek admissions to the Member Institutions, have formed "Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka" COMEDK.
The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has been assigned the task of organising a common entrance test for the academic year 2010, for candidates aspiring to pursue Post Graduate Courses in Medical and Dental studies in the state of Karnataka, in colleges run by Private Medical and Dental Colleges who are Member Institutions of the consortium.

Eligibility
Applicants should have successfully passed all years of their M,B,B.S / B.D.S. from an institution recognized by MCI/ DCI and must have completed / completing their internship by 30th April, 2010
Post Graduate entrance Test
PGET (Post Graduate entrance Test) is conducted by COMEDK every year for admission in various post graduate medical course in Karnataka Medical and Dental Colleges.
COMEDK entrance test is mandatory requirement for admissions into the Post Graduate courses of COMEDK Member Institutions.
COMEDK member institutions offers post graduate degree and post graduate diplomas in different disciplines. Post graduate degree is a three year full time and post graduate diploma is a two year part time programme.
Entrance Test
PGET consists of only one test for all Medical and Dental Courses respectively.
The test contains 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to be answered
in 180 minutes.
