Overviews
Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha, Maharashtra will
hold the entrance examination for selection of students for admission
to MBBS course starting in July 2010, on April 2010. The entrance examination
will consist of multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and
Biology. Besides there will be a paper on Gandhian Thought which will
consist of essay and/ or short answer type questions.
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination (Academic) or equivalent examination with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects English, Biology (Botony + Zoology), Physics and Chemistry.
Application
Separate Applications are prescribed for JET-2010. To appear in JET-2010, candidates should submit the application meant for the Joint Entrance Test (JET-2010), Necessary application forms along with Information Bulletin can be obtained from April 2010 to 5th May 2010 in person from the Convenor, CENTAC, Pondicherry Engineering College Campus, Pondicherry 605 014 on payment of Rs.2000/- or equivalent In US dollars.
Application forms can also be obtained by post by sending a request along with two self addressed slips (nearly typed or hand written) and a Crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 2200/- or equivalent in US dollars, drawn in favour of the “The Convenor, CENTAC” payable at Pondicherry. Payment by cheques, Money Orders and Postal Orders will not be accepted. The application form along with the Information Bulletin can be obtained from the Convenor, CENTAC, Pondicherry Engineering College Campus, Pondicherry - 605 014.
Duly completed JET-2010 applications should reach the Office of the Convenor, Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Pondicherry Engineering College Campus, Pondicherry - 605 014, latest by 05.05.2010 (5.00 P.M)
Age Limit
The Age will be reckoned as on 31st December 2010. The candidate should
be above 17 years and there is no upper age limit
JET-2005 :
Candidates seeking Admission to I BDS course under NRI / NRI Sponsored
/ Foreign Students quota for the academic year 2010 should appear in
the Joint Entrance Test (JET-2005) (Paper II & III) to be conducted
by the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Govt. of Pondicherry,
on 26th and 27th May 2010. JET-2010 will be conducted in Pondicherry,
Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam.

Physical Sciences : Thursday May 2010- 2.00p.m. to 4.00p.m.
Paper-III
Biology : Friday May 2010- 10.00a.m. to 12 Noon
