Uttaranchal Pre Medical Test is an examination conducted by UCEE for admission to various medical courses in government and private colleges in Uttaranchal. The examination body is UCEE which is an association of Homeopathic, Private Unaided Medical and denial ayurvedic colleges of Uttarakhand. The examination is not only conducted in Uttaranchal but also in lucknow and delhi.

Important dates:
1. April to mid may 2010– availability of application forms.
2. May 2010– last date for submission of completed application forms.
3. End week of may 2010– date of examination.
4. Mid june 2010– declaration of result.

Eligibility criteria:

1. The minimum age of the candidate is 17 years.
2. The candidate appearing for MBBS and BDS examination must have clear passed class 12th examination from a recognized board or any other equivalent board.
3. The candidate must have studied PCB and English in class 12th level.
4. The candidate appearing for BAMS and BHMS examination must have clear passed class 12th examination with PCB.

Application cost and procedure:
1. The cost of application form is Rs.1150/- and Rs.1250/- if you want to get the application for via post.
2. You need to send the request for application form to 47-3rd Floor, Bharat Nagar, Near A Block, New Friends Colony, New Delhi,
3. Send the completed application form to The Secretary, Uttaranchal Council of Entrance Examination, Seema Dental College & Hospital P.O. Pashulok Virbhadra Road, Rishikesh 249203 latest by the date mentioned above.

Reservations of the seats
In each college and in each course 19% of the total no. of seats shall be reserved for SC, 4% for ST and 14% for OBC category of candidates.
In each College and in each Course, horizontal reservation of 2% of total seats in that category, shall be reserved for dependants of freedom fighters, 2% for sons and daughters of defence personnel died or disabled in war, 3% for physically handicapped and 20% for women candidates

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure is same as that of the other competitive examinations and depends quite a lot on the performance of the candidates in the UPMT.
